Let’s have a pool party! Whatever your event—birthdays, graduations, or any other reason to get-together—why not host it at the Rec pool and Wolfe Pavilion? Private or during open hours, we have you covered with lifeguards, amenities, and some of the best fun summertime offers!
Rental Options
The Rec is ready for your party! Our rates vary depending on the date/time of your event (open-hours versus closed/private) and whether or not you are a Rec member (hint: join today to save!).
The Rec also now has two new gas grills that can be reserved on an hourly basis.

Rental Terms & Rules
Pavilion Rental Terms & Policies:
- Two (2) hours of exclusive access to the Wolfe Pavilion (located by the middle pool)
- Up to 30 people total, adults and children included; additional $5 for each guest over 30
- Use of our kitchen to store your food and beverages
- Swimming fun with lifeguards on duty
- All guests should check in at front gate
- Reserve the right to limit facility usage due to safety or maintenance
- To qualify for a refund, cancellation must be confirmed at least one week in advance of the rental date
- In the event of inclement weather, we are happy to reschedule your party
Grill Rental Rules & Regulations:
To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all members and guests, the Chagrin Valley Recreation Center has established the following formal rules regarding the use of community grills. Compliance with these regulations is required for all members.
- Hours of Operation and Time Slots
- Daily Availability: Grills are available for use between the hours of 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
- Hourly Rentals: Grills are reserved and rented in designated 1-hour time slots.
- Reservation and Availability
- Pavilion Priority: One (1) designated grill shall remain permanently reserved and available for exclusive use by members renting the Pavilion.
- General Availability: All other grills are available for 1-hour rentals to general facility members.
- Equipment and Utensil Policy
- Check-Out Procedure: Official grilling utensils must be checked out at the Front Desk prior to your reserved time slot.
- Return and Liability: All borrowed utensils must be returned to the Front Desk immediately following the conclusion of grill use.
- Replacement Fee: Failure to return any checked-out utensils will result in an automatic $50.00 charge assessed to the responsible party.
- Mandatory Sanitation and Cleanliness
- Required Cleaning for the Next Guest: Every individual user is strictly required to thoroughly clean the grill grates and surrounding preparation surfaces immediately following their use. The grill must be left completely ready for the next scheduled person to use.
- Condition of Property: Members must leave the grill in the exact clean condition in which they found it. All personal trash, food remnants, and cooking debris must be disposed of properly in the designated receptacles.
- Enforcement: Out of respect for the next scheduled group, strict adherence to the 1-hour time limit and cleaning policy is required. Failure to comply may result in the loss of facility grilling privileges.
